When’s the best time to get concrete cleaned?
Ideally as soon as possible after the form boards have been stripped. The process of cleaning involves using chemicals and high pressure water, so its best to clean as early as possible in the build process when there are no or few finished surfaces in place.
How long does it take to clean?
It depends on a few things; how dirty the concrete is, how accessible it is, what other works are on-going in that area and else is in the same area. Generally we clean around 200-250 sqm per operator per day.
If I need to patch some areas of concrete, is it best to clean or patch first?
It’s definitely best to clean first. That way the patchers know what the finished surface looks likes so they match the exact colour more accurately.
Do I need to be concerned about other materials and work on site?
As part of the preparation process, we will help you plan and coordinate with other activities on site to make the process as smooth as possible.

I've been working in the Construction industry for 7 years now. I started Slick Bricks because
builders constantly explained how frustrated they with many tradies they had to deal with. Tradies were unreliable, they didn't really cared about the work they produced or how their work impacted on their project. They just wanted to turn up and get paid as soon as possible.
I wanted to create something different; a team that builders could rely on, could trust to always help solve the issues at hand. We're a young business but growing and in everything we do, we always strive to do our absolute best for our clients, every time.
